Howick C E School is a small family friendly primary school located in Penwortham, Preston. We teach children from Reception to Year 6 and have an annual admission of 15 children. Our Reception children are taught in a class of 15 with a full-time teacher supported by a part-time teaching assistant. This unique opportunity allows the children the best possible start to their educational life and helps them settle quickly into school and class routines.
As the children progress through school we work closely and have strong links with all the local high schools. As the time for our Year 6 children to move on approaches we work hard to ensure that their transition is seamless with a variety of activities involving “us” visiting them and “them” visiting us!
