Year 6 Leavers Service - Blackburn Cathedral
Our Year 6’s attended the Leaver’s service at Blackburn Cathedral. This was wonderful opportunity for them to join with other Year 6 children in the Diocese to celebrate and give thanks for their time at primary school and to give them encouragement as they journey onto high school.
The King's Coronation
As part of the Coronation celebrations we joined with St Mary's Church to create these wonderful weather vanes. Reverend Chris came into school to lead Collective Worship and reminded the children about how passionate King Charles is about conservation, These animals have been a fantastic way of reminding them about the importance of protecting our wildlife.
The Queen's Jubilee
As part of the Jubilee celebrations St Mary's Church have provided each of our families with a horse to decorate. These will be on display in church. The children have really enjoyed this opportunity and we are so impressed with their work.
